Prerequisites -
  • A nunify account and event. If you have not created it yet, you can do the same by following the steps mentioned here.
  • A nunify live session. If you have not added it yet, you can do the same by following the steps mentioned here
  • Go live from the session by following the steps mentioned here


To Ask a Question -

  • Access the live session

  • Click on the Questions button present in the bottom bar of the screen
  • The questions posted here are visible to all the participants of the session and the speaker can answer while in the session or respond back to each question individually.

To Moderate Questions -


  • Go to the admin portal
  • Select your event
  • Click on Event App



  • Click on All Content



  • Click on Stage



  • Click on the session you want to moderate questions for


  • Click on the Questions tab present below the Session Details tab
  • Set the Approve New Questions Manually button to Green

  • Now all the posted questions will be visible in the "Pending Approval" tab
  • Approve the questions you wish to be visible all the questions.
  • Only the approved questions will be visible to all the attendees.


To deactivate the Questions feature -

  • Go to the admin portal for your event
  • Click on Event App



  • Click on All Content



  • Click on the gear icon present in the bottom right corner of the Agenda feature



  • Scroll down to find the option Allow Questions


  • If it is toggled to green the questions tab is enabled and the attendees will be able to ask questions. If it is toggled to red, the chat is disabled and the attendees cannot ask questions.
