From the event dashboard, click on content on the top bar.

Now click on the “Agenda” page, which lists all the sessions added to the event.

Now click on the settings icon “⚙️” and check on the “Show chat” option to enable session chat.

Similarly, uncheck the “Show chat” option to disable session chat.
